Phoenix rises for ATEI - 06/12/07

UK flag German digital technicians, Phoenix Mecano have added their name to the blossoming list of first-time exhibitors signing up for ATEI 2008, the London exhibition which runs between 22nd and 24th January at Earls Court 1.

Phoenix will be showing their unique optical coin validation technology at ATEI 2008, as Product Manager Detlef Korhon explained: “The OMP range is able to differentiate between correct and incorrect coins and imitations through the optical scanning of coin markings combined with a mechanical measurement of the coin diameter and inductive testing of the coin material. At ATEI 2008, we will be showing what we believe to be the world’s only real optical coin validator.”

Many of Phoenix Mecano’s systems can be handled through one USB-port, a coin validator (master) combined with a bank note validator (slave). Kohorn expanded: “This makes it very easy for the (Internet/Kiosk) Terminal provider to handle two hardware components with one interface.”

On ATEI 2008, Korhon added: “The ATEI show is one of the most important gaming and amusements shows in the world. All our potential customers are exhibiting at this show. We hope to get good contacts with new and existing gaming/amusement machine manufacturers.”
